Allison Raskin Bio

Allison Beth Raskin (born April 15 1977) is an American writer, director comedian as well as a podcaster. She is also a vocal advocate for mental health. Her previous position at BuzzFeed Video was that of a writer. In 2015, she left to become a writer with her co-worker Gabe Dunn on their Just Between Us comedy YouTube channel. Raskin was born in Manhattan 20 June 1989, to her Jewish parents who raised her in the home of her father and mother. She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the University of Southern California. Jamin Ben Raskin (born December 13, 1962) is a prominent American attorney law professor and politician who has been an official U.S. representative for Maryland's 8th congressional district as of 2017. The law professor was the main prosecutor in the impeachment of Trump. Rep. Jamie Raskin is not running for Maryland Senate's vacant seat however, he will be running within the House to keep his position as chair of House Oversight and Accountability Committee.
