Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder is the professionally-known name given to Winona Laura Hoowitz. She was birthed in Winona Minnesota. The name was given to her by her parents after the town in which she grew as a child. Michel Horowitz is her father, while Cynthia Palmer is her mother. Ryder's mother and father are both Jewish. Ryder believes herself to being Jewish. Ryder is the younger sister of Uria, and has half-siblings Jubal and Sunyata. Ryder relocated together with her family to Mendocino County California at the age of seven. They didn't have electricity. Ryder who loved reading aged 12 became a book worm because Ryder did not have access to television. Ryder was 12 when she enrolled at the American Conservatory Theatre for acting classes in 1983. In 1986 she landed her first big-screen role in the movie Lucas when she was just 15 years old. Ryder faced bullying in high school. Her hope was that acting might change the situation. However, it didn't come pass. However, it didn't stop her from following her dreams. In 1988, it was the year that Tim Burton released Beetlejuice that was her breakthrough. Ryder was later cast in numerous roles that were successful. She was nominated for two Academy Awards one for her role as a character in The Age of Innocence (1993).
