Whitney Houston and Dana Bash
Whitney Elizabeth Houston was born to a musically inclined family on 9 August 1963 in Newark New Jersey the daughter of gospel star Cissy Houston (nee Emily Lee Drinkard) and John Russell Houston Jr. and cousin of singer Dionne Warwick. In Newark, Whitney began singing with the church choir when she was a young child. When she was 15 years old, she accompanied her mother the background vocals for Chaka's hit Im Every Woman from 1978. Jermaine, her mother and Lou Rawls were a few of the performers she performed with. Also, she was as a model for Seventeen Magazine in 1981. The singer was first a featured singer for New York-based New York Funk band Material. Her quality of vocal performance attracted the attention of major record label Arista where she signed up in 1983. Whitney Houston, her debut album released in 1985, was the top-selling album of a debut singer. Songs like The Greatest Love of All, How Will I Know If You Give Love and the song Saving All My Love were all released off the album. The songs allowed Houston to reach seven US top tens that surpassed even those of The Beatles. The album was sold to three million people in the first year and 25 million globally. Her first six Grammy Awards. The Whitney album from 1987, which featured the songs I Wanna Dance With Somebody and Where Do Broken Hearts Get to and continued to be a huge success. However, it came with The Bodyguard of 1992 that turned her into one of the most successful musicians in recent history. Although the film and the performance of her in it weren't widely reviewed, the soundtrack album as well as her cover to the Dolly Parton song I Will Always Love You topped the charts of albums and singles for months and sold 44 million copies all over the world. In 1993, it was also when she got married Bobby Brown, an ex-New Edition artist and father of the sole child of her marriage, Bobbi Kristina Brown. At this point that her much documented drug use began and by 1996 she was an everyday user.
Dana Bash, also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz, is an American journalist and anchorwoman who serves as a political correspondent for CNN. She has created shows for the network such as Evans & Novak' Late Edition' and Inside Politics'. Coming to her distinctions and awards Bash was once placed in Women in Washington Power List which was published by Elle magazine. Known to possess incredible anchoring/reporting abilities, she is highly regarded by young journalists in the field. Also, she's a lovely mother of her son, despite having graduated of George Washington University. The couple was divorced twice and she is now dating. Bash loves her supporters and her fans with all her heart.
